Choosing an organization-scale workflow model. Large-scale trunk-based development with feature flags. Commit conventions, semantic-release, changesets. Distributed hooks (client and server) and industrialization. Branch protection, CODEOWNERS, mandatory reviews, status checks. Workshop: designing the company's Git repository.
Module 3Performance, monorepo and critical operations
Optimizing very large repositories: gc, repack, commit-graph, partial-clone. Sparse-checkout, blobless-clone, sparse-index. LFS strategies and alternatives. Massive history rewriting with git filter-repo. Monorepo splitting, repository merging, forge migration without downtime. Lab: migration operation on a real anonymized case.
Module 4Supply chain security and incident management
GPG/SSH/sigstore signatures: complete trust chain architecture. SLSA attestations, provenance, supply chain compliance requirements. Secret detection and revocation (gitleaks, trufflehog, BFG). Incident management: corruption, data loss, secret leaks — complete runbook. Immersive simulation: Git security crisis, communication, remediation.
Module 5Enterprise Git governance and change management
Building an enterprise Git repository: policies, conventions, tooling, metrics. Evaluating and choosing a forge (GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Gitea, Bitbucket DC). Team acculturation and training: multi-level program. Setting up level 3 Git support for the organization. Final presentation of the Git governance plan before the jury.
