About VAE
VAE allows anyone with at least one year of experience (continuous or not) related to a target certification to obtain all or part of it without going back through traditional training. It's a guided process (12 to 24 hours) ending in a portfolio and a jury.
The process was streamlined in 2023 (VAE Decree): a single national portal (france-vae.fr), one file, reinforced support. For self-taught tech profiles, VAE can be a smart shortcut to an RNCP certification. Learni helps candidates write the portfolio and prepare the jury.

Mobilize VAE on a Learni program
How to file the application
1) Submit the application on france-vae.fr. 2) Eligibility (4 to 6 weeks) — experience check. 3) Portfolio writing support (12 to 24 h). 4) Jury session that validates fully, partially, or denies.
Indicative amounts and rules
VAE support fundable via the skills development plan, PTP, OPCO or the Regional Council for jobseekers. Average rate: €1,500 to €3,000 ex-VAT.
