The leave to train for a new job while keeping your employment contract
The Professional Transition Project (PTP), run by regional Transitions Pro associations, allows an employee to fund a long training for a career reconversion. It replaced the former CIF (Individual Training Leave) in 2019. The employee keeps their employment contract and receives pay aligned with their salary throughout the training.
It's the most powerful scheme for an ambitious reconversion. Several long Learni programs (6-month offensive cybersecurity, 4-month AI, cloud architect tracks) are eligible for PTP subject to RNCP registration.
Employees on permanent contract with 24 months of employment (including 12 in the current company) or fixed-term employees under conditions. The program must be certifying and listed in the RNCP.
1) Prepare a file with your regional Transitions Pro: motivation letter, career project, Learni quote. 2) Request leave from your employer (who cannot refuse, only postpone by 9 months max). 3) Validation by the joint commission. Lead time: 2 to 4 months.
Full coverage of the pedagogical cost + pay maintained at 100% (up to twice minimum wage) or 90% (above) throughout the training.
Our administrative team handles the full funding application for you. You focus on training, not paperwork.
