Public subsidy to train employees on short-time work or in transition
FNE-Formation is a State scheme, managed by the OPCOs, that co-funds training for employees of companies undergoing economic, technological or transition shifts (digital, environmental, food). Originally deployed during the health crisis to support short-time work, it is now a permanent lever for SMEs and mid-caps wanting to upskill their teams without straining cash flow.
Coverage ranges from 50% to 100% of the training cost depending on company size and the type of transition. Learni programs in AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data and no-code are particularly eligible — they document a measurable digital shift.
