About Pro-A

Pro-A allows an employee already on permanent or intermittent contract to follow a degree- or certification-leading training in work-study mode, without changing employers. It's a powerful tool to anticipate internal mobility, secure a career path or move an employee into a new role within the same company.

Eligible programs are set by branch agreements (extended via addenda). For Learni programs in cybersecurity, AI, cloud and dev, several branches (notably Syntec) have published lists of certifications eligible for Pro-A.

How to use

Mobilize Pro-A on a Learni program

Who can benefit

Employees on permanent contract, CUI permanent contract or intermittent (entertainment), who have not exceeded a degree level defined by the branch. The target program must be on the branch's list.

How to file the application

1) Check that the target certification is on your branch's Pro-A list. 2) Tripartite agreement between the employee, employer and OPCO. 3) The OPCO funds the pedagogical cost and may cover pay during training periods.

Indicative amounts and rules

Pedagogical cost covered per NPEC or branch flat rate. Partial coverage of the employee's pay during training hours possible.
