Module 1Introduction to retro gaming and analysis of Pac-Man gameplay
Presentation and history of the Pac-Man game, breakdown of the gameplay, analysis of basic mechanics (movement, collection, enemies, score). Getting started with the web development environment (code editor, browser, debug tools).
Module 2Project structuring and creation of the game grid
Development of the HTML structure, implementation of CSS for initial display. Dynamic generation of the game grid in JavaScript. Introduction to game state management. Representation of elements (walls, pac-dots, ghosts, Pac-Man).
Module 3Programming the game logic and user interactions
Management of Pac-Man's movements using the keyboard. Coding collision rules (walls, pac-dots, ghosts, bonuses). Autonomous ghost movement: basic intelligence, pursuit, and random behavior. Implementation of score, end-of-game management, victory/defeat screens. Optimization, debugging, sharing and deployment tips. Advice for further development (animations, levels, advanced AI).
