Don't let this gap widen

Why this program matters

  • Without this upskilling, your team accumulates a technological gap that translates directly into productivity loss.

  • Organizations that don't train their talents on key topics see their competitiveness drop.

  • Every quarter without training is a gap widening with competitors who invest.

  • The cost of inaction quickly exceeds that of well-targeted training.

Embedded Inference training objectives

  • Measure the performance of embedded inference across latency, memory and energy to validate any model under operational conditions.
  • Define a reproducible latency measurement method including statistical distribution rather than a simple average.
  • Quantify energy consumed per inference using a dedicated power analyzer.
  • Capture real memory usage including stack peaks and intermediate buffers.
  • Compare two models on the three technical criteria rather than accuracy alone.
  • Produce a performance sheet that commits the technical team to the end customer.

Program

Embedded Inference curriculum: 3 modules over 3 days

Module 1 : Latency measurement and distribution (oscilloscope, GPIO, timers)

Participants instrument their target to capture real inference times. Exercises on Arduino and Raspberry Pi with GPIO triggering and trace analysis. Construction of a statistical latency distribution rather than a single average value. Day deliverable: measurement script and initial datasets on the participant’s own model.

Module 2 : Energy consumption and memory usage (power analyzer, heap profiler)

Implementation of a power analyzer to quantify energy per inference. Measurement of consumption in idle, compute and transmission states. Simultaneously, precise RAM mapping including stack and buffers. Comparison of two models on the same target. Deliverable: quantified energy and memory readings.

Module 3 : Synthesis and client performance sheet (comparative tables, reporting)

Compilation of the three measurement axes into a single sheet. Critical analysis of a model that is too accurate yet exceeds budget. Drafting of a client-facing document integrating latency, energy and memory. Oral presentation and group technical arbitration. Final deliverable: participant’s model performance sheet.

How Embedded Inference skills are assessed

  • Reproducible latency measurements with validated statistical distribution
  • Complete performance sheet with energy and memory data

Our method

How Learni guarantees the quality of your Embedded Inference training

Before, during, after: we frame the brief, introduce the trainer, tailor the content and measure impact. You stay in control from kickoff to wrap-up.

Step 1

Rigorous trainer selection

Each trainer is validated on three criteria: hands-on field expertise, proven pedagogy and alignment with your industry.

  • Triple validation: technical, pedagogical, sectoral.
  • Minimum rating 4.8/5 over the last 12 sessions.
Step 2

You meet the trainer beforehand

30-minute video call between you and the selected trainer to validate the fit, adjust content and clear any final doubts.

  • Live briefing on goals and team context.
  • Veto right — we swap the trainer for free if needed.
Step 3

Content tailored to your context

No recycled slides. The syllabus is reworked from your real cases: tools, constraints, vocabulary, ongoing projects.

  • Hands-on cases drawn from your stack and projects.
  • Program co-written then validated by your team.
Step 4

Continuous quality follow-up

Live evaluations, 30/90/180-day check-ins and a consolidation plan. If the impact misses the mark, we rework it.

  • NPS, knowledge quizzes and skills self-assessment.
  • Satisfaction guarantee: fully satisfied or free rework.

A simple promise: you don't pay to discover the trainer on day one. Everything is validated upfront, by you.

FAQ

Embedded Inference: frequently asked questions

Which tools are used in Embedded Inference training?+
Hands-on work runs on oscilloscope, GPIO, timers, power analyzer, heap profiler and comparative tables. Those tools come from the Embedded Inference program itself, delivered on site over 3 days, so participants practise on the stack they will use at work.
What can participants do after Embedded Inference training?+
They can measure the performance of embedded inference across latency, memory and energy to validate any model under operational conditions, define a reproducible latency measurement method including statistical distribution rather than a simple average and quantify energy consumed per inference using a dedicated power analyzer. Those are the stated objectives of the Embedded Inference program at Advanced level, checked by the end-of-session assessment.
What does the Embedded Inference program cover, day by day?+
Day 1: Latency measurement and distribution (oscilloscope, GPIO, timers). Day 2: Energy consumption and memory usage (power analyzer, heap profiler). Day 3: Synthesis and client performance sheet (comparative tables, reporting). The Embedded Inference program runs over 3 days, delivered on site.
How is Embedded Inference training assessed?+
Assessment relies on reproducible latency measurements with validated statistical distribution, complete performance sheet with energy and memory data and argumented comparison of two models on the three technical criteria. Learni issues a completion certificate together with the individual assessment report at the end of the Embedded Inference program, which an L&D team can file as evidence.
