The Training GLSL: Learn the Basics of Shaders for Interactive 3D Graphics training is delivered in-person or remotely (blended-learning, e-learning, virtual classroom, remote in-person). At Learni, a Qualiopi-certified training organization, each program is designed to maximize skills acquisition, regardless of the training mode chosen.
The trainer alternates between demonstrative, interrogative, and active methods (through practical exercises and/or real-world scenarios). This pedagogical approach ensures concrete and directly applicable learning in the workplace.
To ensure the quality of the Training GLSL: Learn the Basics of Shaders for Interactive 3D Graphics training, Learni provides the following teaching resources:
For in-house training at a location external to Learni, the client ensures and commits to having all necessary teaching materials (IT equipment, internet connection...) for the proper conduct of the training action in accordance with the prerequisites indicated in the communicated training program.
The assessment of skills acquired during the Training GLSL: Learn the Basics of Shaders for Interactive 3D Graphics training is carried out through:

Presentation of GLSL and the role of shaders (Vertex/Fragment). Understanding the graphics pipeline. First steps with WebGL/OpenGL and editing tools. Basic syntax, variables, structures, GPU data flow. Examples of elementary effects. Hands-on setup of a real-time shader testing environment.
Color and light manipulation in GLSL. Introduction to 2D textures, UV coordinates, filtering, and import from the CPU. Procedural noise usage and dynamic pattern generation. Practical exercises: write a color shader, apply a texture, animate a gradient.
Advanced effects: blur, dynamic lighting, reflection/refraction, blending. Animation techniques: surface deformation, time-based movement, mouse/keyboard interaction for real-time control. Integration and optimization in a target engine (WebGL/Three.js/TouchDesigner). Mini-project implementation: creation of a personalized interactive scene.
Target audience
Developers, digital artists, graphic designers, and computer science or design students wishing to understand and manipulate GLSL shaders to create advanced visual effects.
Prerequisites
Basics of programming (C/C++ or JavaScript recommended). Elementary 3D notions recommended but not required.
