With digital at the core of its business, Solocal runs and promotes several web and mobile products. On mobile, store visibility directly drives the volume of organic downloads β and therefore cost-efficient user acquisition.
Yet on the Google Play Store, being present isn't enough: you have to be found. Between keyword search, competing listings and the algorithm's ranking criteria, gaining visibility demands a specific skill β ASO β that Solocal wanted to anchor in-house.

The challenge
The targeted mobile app was well built, but struggled to surface on the Play Store: low visibility on strategic queries, an under-optimized listing and a view-to-install conversion rate below its potential.
Without a structured ASO method, optimizations were done on gut feel: swapping a visual or a description without measuring impact, with no keyword strategy and no close reading of Play Console data. Under those conditions, climbing the rankings sustainably was hard.
Solocal therefore wanted to train a lead able to drive ASO end to end: keyword research, listing optimization, conversion-oriented creative, review management and measurement β then spread that skill to the product and marketing teams.
Our approach
Learni designed a one-day, one-to-one track, calibrated to Solocal's real app and market: targeted queries, competing listings, user audience. The learner worked on their own Play Store listing, not a textbook case.
The trainer β a hands-on ASO and mobile-growth practitioner β structured the course around a single thread: audit the existing listing, build a keyword strategy, then rebuild the listing and a testing plan to improve both ranking and conversion.
By the end of the day, the learner had: a prioritized keyword map, a rewritten Play Store listing (title, short and long description), a creative plan (icon, screenshots, video) to test through Store Listing Experiments, and a tracking dashboard based on Play Console.
