The challenge

Training a whole team, thousands of kilometres away

Oméga Télécom wanted to upskill a team of five on Home Assistant, the open-source home automation platform.

The team works in Martinique. Home Assistant is learned hands-on: sensors, gateways, the local network, automations you trigger and then fix. On such a practical platform, learning in person, on the same hardware and in the same room, makes the difference.

Our approach

A trainer on site, five days of in-company training

Instead of flying the team out, Learni flew the trainer in. The trainer travelled to Martinique to run the course on site for five days with the five team members.

The in-company format meant working as a small group, at the team's own pace, from getting started with the platform through to automations.
