Introduction to stacks, stack sets, and templates. Creation and deployment of a first simple template (creation of a VPC, an EC2 instance, and an S3 bucket).
Module 2Advanced Template Mastery and Modularity
Advanced parameterization with parameters, mappings, and conditions. Use of intrinsic functions (Fn::Sub, Fn::Join, Ref, etc.). Development of complex templates and modularization with nested stacks. Management of updates and rollbacks. Introduction to using the CLI and SDKs. Practical exercises on versioning management and multi-stack environments.
Module 3Automation, Security, and CI/CD
Automation of deployments with CloudFormation in CI/CD workflows (CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.). Adoption of security best practices: IAM, policy management, and data encryption management. Structuring templates for multi-account and multi-environment deployments. Real case studies of industrialization and infrastructure supervision. Collective review and analysis of trainees' projects.
