Basic and advanced commands for smooth navigation in Windows (file explorer, clipboard management, window and application usage). Learning NVDA interactive commands for web navigation (structures, headings, links, forms). Directed exercises on compliant and non-compliant websites to experience accessibility impacts. Keyboard productivity tips and creation of personalized profiles.
Module 3Testing, Training, and Supporting with NVDA
Using NVDA as an accessibility testing tool for web pages and applications. Identifying, describing, and documenting obstacles encountered during tests. Presentation of quick audit scenarios with NVDA (section navigation, forms, tables, images). Materials and methods for training beginner users. Limitations and complementarity of NVDA with other tools and software. Tips for fostering user autonomy with NVDA.
