Installation, interface discovery, shortcut configuration, layer management and main tools (brush, eraser, selection). Introduction to pixel art basics: grid, low-res, readability principles. Creation of first simple patterns. Practical exercises to master the pixel space.
Module 2Colors, Palettes and Pixel Art Asset Creation
Advanced work on color palettes: selection, creation, import/export. Understanding dithering, contrasts and volumes in pixel art. Reproduction of famous models for inspiration. Hands-on creation of a complete character or object. Study of manual anti-aliasing and light management.
Module 3Animation and Export with Aseprite
Animating sprites: timeline, keyframes, loop and animation cycle management. Advanced animation tools (onion skin, tags, duplications). Exporting animated assets (GIF, PNG, sprite sheet files).
