Creating custom authorization policies (JSON IAM Policies). Using conditions, operators, and variables. Managing cross-permissions with other AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda. Case study: creating a complex policy. Applying the principle of least privilege.
Module 3Good Governance, Audit, and Compliance
Deploying MFA (multi-factor authentication) on IAM. Implementing best practices (credential rotation, password policy, privilege separation). Monitoring, auditing, and logging with AWS CloudTrail, Access Analyzer, and IAM logs management. Preventing common errors, automatic remediation. Final practical workshop: securing access to an AWS-hosted application.
