Learning objectives

  • Master strategic DDD patterns to align code and business in enterprise settings
  • Develop robust tactical models with aggregates and bounded contexts in professional contexts
  • Implement events and context mapping for certified distributed architectures
  • Design scalable applications via event storming and CQRS in expert training
  • Optimize DDD skills to reduce software complexity in production
  • Deploy DDD solutions tailored to business needs with a focus on maintainability

The Learni story

Founded by engineers and learning experts, Learni's mission is to make high-impact tech training accessible to teams everywhere. We work remotely with organizations across the US and Canada, in your time zone, to help teams upskill fast.

Don't let this gap widen

Why this program matters

  • Without this upskilling, your team accumulates a technological gap that translates directly into productivity loss.

  • Organizations that don't train their talents on key topics see their competitiveness drop.

  • Every quarter without training is a gap widening with competitors who invest.

  • The cost of inaction quickly exceeds that of well-targeted training.

Program

Module 1Strategic DDD: Modeling the domain via ubiquitous language and bounded contexts (event storming, collaborative workshops)

Immersion in event storming to map the business domain with the team, precise definition of the shared ubiquitous language, identification of bounded contexts via interactive workshops on real enterprise cases, creation of context maps to delineate boundaries, practical exercises in refactoring an existing monolith into aligned sub-domains, deliverable of a strategic diagram ready for the overall architecture.

Module 2Tactical DDD: Advanced aggregates, entities, and value objects (UML tools, domain-first code)

Design of aggregates with invariants to protect business consistency, fine-grained modeling of entities and value objects with complex invariants, application of repositories and factories in Java or C#, workshops on refactoring legacy code to pure DDD, domain-centric unit tests to validate business rules, production of a complete, testable, and documented domain module, focus on performance in enterprise contexts.

Module 3Advanced DDD: CQRS, event sourcing, and integration patterns (Axon Framework, Kafka)

Implementation of CQRS to separate scalable read/write models, mastery of event sourcing with immutable events and projections, use of Axon or EventStore to persist business history, integration via anti-corruption layers and open host services, exercises on Kafka for event propagation between contexts, development of a resilient distributed prototype, analysis of trade-offs for optimal production choices.

Module 4DDD in Production: Deployment, Monitoring, and Enterprise Case Studies (Spring Boot, .NET, metrics)

Deployment of a complete DDD application with CI/CD and Docker containers, monitoring of bounded contexts via business-specific metrics, study of real cases from fintech or e-commerce leaders, collaborative refactoring of the 4-day red thread project, DDD compliance audit and evolution plan, delivery of annotated source code and roadmap for enterprise scaling, final evaluation with quiz and defense.

Evaluation method

  • Expert DDD knowledge validation quiz at the end of the training
  • Continuous assessment through tactical and strategic exercises
  • Defense of the DDD red thread project in front of the certified trainer

Learning method

  • Courses led by a practicing DDD expert in enterprise
  • Practical exercises on real and complex business cases
  • Progressive DDD red thread project over the 4 days
  • Complete course materials and open-source resources provided

Our method

Training quality, guaranteed at every step

Before, during, after: we frame the brief, introduce the trainer, tailor the content and measure impact. You stay in control from kickoff to wrap-up.

Step 1

Rigorous trainer selection

Each trainer is validated on three criteria: hands-on field expertise, proven pedagogy and alignment with your industry.

  • Triple validation: technical, pedagogical, sectoral.
  • Minimum rating 4.8/5 over the last 12 sessions.
Step 2

You meet the trainer beforehand

30-minute video call between you and the selected trainer to validate the fit, adjust content and clear any final doubts.

  • Live briefing on goals and team context.
  • Veto right — we swap the trainer for free if needed.
Step 3

Content tailored to your context

No recycled slides. The syllabus is reworked from your real cases: tools, constraints, vocabulary, ongoing projects.

  • Hands-on cases drawn from your stack and projects.
  • Program co-written then validated by your team.
Step 4

Continuous quality follow-up

Live evaluations, 30/90/180-day check-ins and a consolidation plan. If the impact misses the mark, we rework it.

  • NPS, knowledge quizzes and skills self-assessment.
  • Satisfaction guarantee: fully satisfied or free rework.

A simple promise: you don't pay to discover the trainer on day one. Everything is validated upfront, by you.
