Why this program matters

  • Without operational mastery of VxRail, teams expose the company to prolonged hyperconverged cluster outages, resulting in up to 40% productivity loss on critical applications.

  • Network or storage configuration errors generate undetected security incidents and costly technical debt.

  • Missed updates or the absence of CloudIQ supervision increase downtime risks and Dell support bills, which can represent several tens of thousands of euros per year.

Dell VxRail training objectives

  • Administer VxRail clusters in production using native Dell tools
  • Configure distributed storage and networks for critical workloads
  • Deploy virtual workloads via vCenter and Lifecycle Controller
  • Secure the infrastructure against intrusions and hardware failures
  • Optimize performance using CloudIQ and real-time analytics
  • Troubleshoot server, storage, and network incidents on VxRail

Program

Dell VxRail curriculum: 3 modules over 3 days

Module 1 : Deployment and initialization: installation of VxRail nodes with vCenter and network configuration (iDRAC, OS10)

Participants discover the VxRail hyperconverged architecture and perform the physical installation of the nodes. They use Dell wizards to integrate PowerEdge servers into the cluster, configure the network with OS10 and activate iDRAC for remote management. Hands-on labs on the mockup validate connectivity and generate the first Lifecycle Controller reports.

Module 2 : Administration and storage: management of PowerStore and PowerFlex datastores via vCenter and OpenManage

The day covers daily cluster administration. Learners create and size distributed datastores, apply storage policies and monitor usage with CloudIQ. Concrete scenarios include capacity expansion, VM migration and performance analysis to anticipate bottlenecks in a production environment.

Module 3 : Security and troubleshooting: PowerProtect protection, updates and incident resolution (VxRail Manager)

Trainees learn to secure the infrastructure with PowerProtect and plan updates via VxRail Manager. They simulate network or disk failures and apply Dell-recommended troubleshooting procedures. Each case concludes with an incident report deliverable and optimization recommendations for maintaining operational conditions.

Our method

How Learni guarantees the quality of your Dell VxRail training

Before, during, after: we frame the brief, introduce the trainer, tailor the content and measure impact. You stay in control from kickoff to wrap-up.

Step 1

Rigorous trainer selection

Each trainer is validated on three criteria: hands-on field expertise, proven pedagogy and alignment with your industry.

  • Triple validation: technical, pedagogical, sectoral.
  • Minimum rating 4.8/5 over the last 12 sessions.
Step 2

You meet the trainer beforehand

30-minute video call between you and the selected trainer to validate the fit, adjust content and clear any final doubts.

  • Live briefing on goals and team context.
  • Veto right — we swap the trainer for free if needed.
Step 3

Content tailored to your context

No recycled slides. The syllabus is reworked from your real cases: tools, constraints, vocabulary, ongoing projects.

  • Hands-on cases drawn from your stack and projects.
  • Program co-written then validated by your team.
Step 4

Continuous quality follow-up

Live evaluations, 30/90/180-day check-ins and a consolidation plan. If the impact misses the mark, we rework it.

  • NPS, knowledge quizzes and skills self-assessment.
  • Satisfaction guarantee: fully satisfied or free rework.

A simple promise: you don't pay to discover the trainer on day one. Everything is validated upfront, by you.
