Presentation of OSINT and its uses in cybersecurity, overview of tools, positioning of Maltego. Installation and configuration of Maltego (Community/Classic/XL). Interface tour, project creation, concrete case management. First graphs: structure, entities, links, visualization.
Module 2In-Depth Exploitation of Transforms and Data Collection
Detailed presentation of Maltego Transforms (Local, Remote, external APIs). Implementation of modules to enrich investigations (Whois, DNS, social networks, emails, phones, etc.). Pivot techniques, data collection automation. Building a graph from a digital footprint. First practical exercises on real scenarios.
Module 3Advanced Mapping, Automation, and OSINT Best Practices
Multi-source fusion and correlation. Exploration of complex cases: organizational networks, influence network mapping, social media investigations. Creating custom Transforms. Exporting results, writing investigation reports. Ethical and legal aspects of OSINT, confidentiality management, and responsibility.
