Recap on topic modeling (LDA, NMF, contextual), presentation of BERTopic, fundamental differences, business use cases, installation of the environment on Anaconda and Jupyter, overview of the technical architecture. First steps on simple datasets.
Module 2Advanced Corpus Preparation and Embedding Customization
Advanced preprocessing techniques (lemmatization, stopwords, cleaning), choice of embedding models (BERT, sentence-transformers, multilingual alternatives), dimensionality reduction (UMAP, PCA, t-SNE), impact on clustering quality. Practical exercises on large real-world corpora.

Clustering parameterization (HDBSCAN, DBSCAN), exploration of key settings for number and coherence of topics, interactive visualization (plotly, bokeh), advanced interpretation. Approaches to merge or split topics, quality evaluation (coherence, business relevance), creation of reports and decision-support tools from BERTopic.
