- Should a team be certified on both clouds?
- Rarely at the same time. Certify on the production cloud first, then widen the scope if a migration or a genuine multicloud strategy is under way. Two simultaneous tracks dilute preparation.
- Does AZ-305 really require AZ-104?
- Microsoft expects an administration certification beforehand to award the Expert level. In practice, an architect without Azure administration grounding struggles on networking and identity trade-offs.
- Do these certifications expire?
- Both vendors require periodic renewal. Plan recertification into your skills development plan, otherwise the credential lapses after a few years.
