Don't let this gap widen

Why this program matters

  • Without this upskilling, your team accumulates a technological gap that translates directly into productivity loss.

  • Organizations that don't train their talents on key topics see their competitiveness drop.

  • Every quarter without training is a gap widening with competitors who invest.

  • The cost of inaction quickly exceeds that of well-targeted training.

Robotic Architecture training objectives

  • Master the software architecture of a robot to break it into packages with clear responsibilities, manage dependencies and ensure enterprise maintainability.
  • Develop effective isolation of the hardware layer to support multiple robot variants without major refactoring.
  • Design interfaces between teams and enforce them through automated tests integrated into the development pipeline.
  • Implement rigorous management of external dependencies and their versioning to ensure deliverable stability.
  • Optimize architecture documentation so that a new team member can locate and modify a function without reading the entire repository.
  • Deploy measurement practices (latency, message loss, processor load) on real hardware targets to validate each package.

Robotic Architecture curriculum: 4 modules over 4 days

Module 1 : Package breakdown and responsibilities (ROS2, colcon)

Analysis of a real robot to identify functional boundaries. Creation of ROS2 packages with directed dependencies, unit tests and continuous integration. Exercises on latency and processor load measurement. Deliverable: reusable and documented package structure for a robotic arm.

Module 2 : Hardware layer isolation (URDF, hardware interface)

Design of a hardware abstraction supporting multiple robot variants. Implementation of standardized interfaces and measurements on physical targets. Concrete cases of migration between simulator and real robot. Deliverable: isolated and independently testable hardware layer.

Module 3 : Inter-team interfaces and tests (pytest, launch files)

Definition and contractualization of interfaces between packages. Setup of integration tests and API contracts. Workshops on early regression detection. Deliverable: automated test suite validating contracts between modules.

Module 4 : Dependencies, versioning and documentation (ament, sphinx)

Advanced management of external dependencies and their versioning. Drafting of architecture documentation usable by new team members. Final review on a complete repository. Deliverable: structured, documented repository ready for handover to a new team.

Our method

How Learni guarantees the quality of your Robotic Architecture training

Before, during, after: we frame the brief, introduce the trainer, tailor the content and measure impact. You stay in control from kickoff to wrap-up.

Step 1

Rigorous trainer selection

Each trainer is validated on three criteria: hands-on field expertise, proven pedagogy and alignment with your industry.

  • Triple validation: technical, pedagogical, sectoral.
  • Minimum rating 4.8/5 over the last 12 sessions.
Step 2

You meet the trainer beforehand

30-minute video call between you and the selected trainer to validate the fit, adjust content and clear any final doubts.

  • Live briefing on goals and team context.
  • Veto right — we swap the trainer for free if needed.
Step 3

Content tailored to your context

No recycled slides. The syllabus is reworked from your real cases: tools, constraints, vocabulary, ongoing projects.

  • Hands-on cases drawn from your stack and projects.
  • Program co-written then validated by your team.
Step 4

Continuous quality follow-up

Live evaluations, 30/90/180-day check-ins and a consolidation plan. If the impact misses the mark, we rework it.

  • NPS, knowledge quizzes and skills self-assessment.
  • Satisfaction guarantee: fully satisfied or free rework.

A simple promise: you don't pay to discover the trainer on day one. Everything is validated upfront, by you.
