Learning objectives

  • Understand the HTML and JavaScript actually produced by WebDev
  • Write JavaScript in a WebDev page without breaking the engine
  • Integrate a third-party front-end library and connect it to WebDev fields
  • Exchange data between browser code, JavaScript and the server
  • Take control of styles and coexist with an external design system
  • Diagnose a page using browser developer tools

Our social commitment

A school kit donated to a child for every training

To fight inequalities in access to education, Learni donates a complete school kit to a child in need for every training booked. You build your skills, a child heads back to school.

  • Backpack, notebooks and essential supplies
  • Distributed through our partner charities
  • Included, at no extra cost to you

The Learni story

Founded by engineers and learning experts, Learni's mission is to make high-impact tech training accessible to teams everywhere. We work remotely with organizations across the US and Canada, in your time zone, to help teams upskill fast.

Don't let this gap widen

Why this program matters

  • Refusing all external JavaScript forces rewriting components that already exist and leaves the application visually outdated compared to competitors.

  • Conversely, injecting JavaScript randomly into a WebDev page breaks context management and produces bugs that only appear for certain users.

  • Knowing exactly what the engine generates is the only way to integrate without weakening the system.

Program

Module 1What WebDev actually produces

Reading the generated HTML, field identifiers, document structure, loaded resources. Page lifecycle on the browser side and role of the WebDev engine. Browser WLangage code versus native JavaScript: what each can and cannot do. Browser developer tools: inspection, console, network, breakpoints. Workshop: dissect an existing WebDev page and map what the browser executes.

Module 2JavaScript in a WebDev page

Inserting JavaScript cleanly: external files, loading order, global scope. Cross-calls between browser WLangage and JavaScript, type and collection conversion. DOM manipulation without desynchronizing WebDev fields. Browser events and coexistence with engine events. Workshop: add advanced client-side behavior to a form while preserving server controls.

Module 3Third-party libraries and data

Integrating a market component: selection, weight, license, maintenance, security. Feeding the component from the server: AJAX calls, JSON, server procedure calls. Sending component input back to WebDev fields and the database. Error handling, slow loading and legacy browsers. Workshop: integrate a visualization or advanced input component connected to HFSQL data.

Module 4Styles, design system and industrialization

WebDev style sheets, custom styles, coexistence with an imposed external design system. Adaptation to screen sizes and consistency with the rest of the information system. Page weight, deferred loading, cache and impact of added libraries. Team conventions, front-end resource versioning, procedure for updating a library. Capstone case: deliver an enriched page compliant with an external design system, measured before and after for loading time.

Evaluation method

  • Self-assessment at the start of the session, followed by a validation quiz at the end of each day
  • Continuous assessment on an individual WinDev project, one workstation and one dataset per participant
  • Capstone case study presented at the end of the course to the trainer and the group

Learning method

  • A workstation equipped with the PC SOFT environment and a training project per participant, kept after the session
  • Short alternation between commented demonstrations in the editor and immediate hands-on practice
  • Use cases built from real business management applications encountered in companies

Our method

Training quality, guaranteed at every step

Before, during, after: we frame the brief, introduce the trainer, tailor the content and measure impact. You stay in control from kickoff to wrap-up.

Step 1

Rigorous trainer selection

Each trainer is validated on three criteria: hands-on field expertise, proven pedagogy and alignment with your industry.

  • Triple validation: technical, pedagogical, sectoral.
  • Minimum rating 4.8/5 over the last 12 sessions.
Step 2

You meet the trainer beforehand

30-minute video call between you and the selected trainer to validate the fit, adjust content and clear any final doubts.

  • Live briefing on goals and team context.
  • Veto right — we swap the trainer for free if needed.
Step 3

Content tailored to your context

No recycled slides. The syllabus is reworked from your real cases: tools, constraints, vocabulary, ongoing projects.

  • Hands-on cases drawn from your stack and projects.
  • Program co-written then validated by your team.
Step 4

Continuous quality follow-up

Live evaluations, 30/90/180-day check-ins and a consolidation plan. If the impact misses the mark, we rework it.

  • NPS, knowledge quizzes and skills self-assessment.
  • Satisfaction guarantee: fully satisfied or free rework.

A simple promise: you don't pay to discover the trainer on day one. Everything is validated upfront, by you.
