Module 1Discovery of Tasmota and Module Preparation
Presentation of Tasmota, history and advantages. Overview of the Tasmota ecosystem and alternatives. Selection of compatible hardware (Sonoff, Shelly, Wemos modules, etc.). Preparation for installation: installation and configuration of required tools (drivers, flashing software, serial terminals). Flashing Tasmota on ESP8266/ESP32 modules (physical/wireless methods). First power-ons and initial configuration phase (Wi-Fi, web interface access).
Module 2Customization, Network Integration and MQTT Control
Hands-on with the Tasmota Web interface (tabs, advanced features, logs). GPIO configuration, adding and managing sensors and actuators (temperature, humidity, relays, PIR sensors, etc.). Concept of Templates for non-standard modules. MQTT implementation and setup: connection to a Mosquitto broker, topic configuration, security (password, TLS). Supervise, query and control modules with MQTT (practical exercises with Node-RED and Home Assistant).
Module 3Automation, Security and Best Practices
Advanced automations (scenes, timers, Tasmota rules, scripts). Integration with home automation platforms (Home Assistant, Jeedom, Domoticz). Supervision and alarm reporting (notifications, remote logs). Backup and restoration strategies for configurations. Installation security (OTA updates, access management, network isolation). Troubleshooting, advanced logs and debugging. Review, best practices and future developments.
