Module 1Introduction to OpenHAB and Installation
Presentation of the Open Source OpenHAB ecosystem, software architecture, overview of key features. Installation on Raspberry Pi, Docker, or dedicated server. Hands-on with the administration console and discovery of the configuration files structure.
Module 2Discovery of Connected Devices and Integration
Supported protocols and standards (Zigbee, Z-Wave, EnOcean, MQTT, HTTP). Detection, inclusion, and management of devices. Installation and configuration of bindings, bridge management. First integration scenarios and status feedback on the platform.
Module 3Automation Rules and Advanced Customization
Programming complex scenarios via the rules engine, DSL scripts, and Blockly. Setting up energy-saving, security, and multi-user management scenarios. Customization of the user interface (HABPanel, Basic UI), creation of custom dashboards. Backup, logs, securing, and updating the installation.
