Participants discover CodeQL in a digital accessibility context. They install the environment, run standard queries on real codebases, and identify basic WCAG violations. Practical exercises focus on semantic data extraction, creating simple reports, and integration with corporate tools. Each learner produces an initial documented audit.
The day is dedicated to writing sophisticated CodeQL queries targeting RGAA criteria. Professionals learn to manipulate code graphs, filter interactive elements, and quantify accessibility risks. Concrete web application cases are analyzed in pairs, followed by deliverables in the form of reusable query sets in a professional context.
Experts configure CodeQL within continuous integration pipelines to monitor accessibility continuously. They create automated workflows, dashboards, and notifications tailored to product teams. Exercises cover managing false positives and prioritizing fixes based on user impact, with ready-to-use configuration deliverables.
This session explores analyzing React and Vue components with CodeQL to detect dynamic accessibility issues. Participants design queries specific to ARIA, event handlers, and conditional rendering. Capstone projects enable the production of complete audits and actionable recommendations for corporate clients.
Learners finalize their certifying project by conducting a complete audit of a provided application. They optimize their queries, present results and fixes to the group. The training concludes with the delivery of a CodeQL query kit tailored to digital accessibility and deployment guidance in a professional environment.
