Presentation of Infrastructure as Code concepts, introduction to Terraform and its use cases, Terraform installation, file organization, discovery of HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL), first deployment of a simple infrastructure.
Module 2Structuring and Managing Infrastructures with Terraform
Management of resources and providers (AWS, Azure, GCP...), definition and use of variables, outputs, and datasources, fine-grained state management (local and remote), backend concepts. Setting up multiple environments and workspaces. Introduction to securing secrets and best practices for structuring.
Module 3Advanced Automation, Modules, and DevOps Integration
Creation, reuse, and publication of modules, configuration factorization for scalability, management of dependencies and resource lifecycle. Integration with CI/CD tools (Gitlab CI, Github Actions), collaboration and access management, implementation of tests and Terraform code validation. Case study: automated deployment of a complete multi-cloud architecture.
