Module 1Introduction, development environment, and Objective-C language basics
Discovery of the Apple ecosystem, installation and hands-on with Xcode, first projects, structure of an Objective-C file, declaration of classes and objects, specific syntax, management of header files (.h) and implementation (.m), concepts of variables, data types, operators, and function syntax. Practical exercises on handling classes and objects.
Module 2Object-oriented programming and memory management
Constructors and destructeurs, inheritance, encapsulation, protocols and categories. Introduction to the memory management system (MRC and ARC), common patterns (Singleton, KVC, KVO), property management and synthesis, best practices to avoid memory leaks. Practical use of protocols and delegation in UIKit. Workshops on memory handling and refactoring exercises.
Module 3Creating iOS and macOS applications with Objective-C and integrating Apple frameworks
Hands-on with Interface Builder, creating simple graphical interfaces (UIKit/AppKit), event management, screen navigation, introduction to the MVC design pattern. Using the Foundation framework for data management, first steps with persistence and Core Data. Application optimization and debugging. Deployment on simulator and real device.

Methods, materials and delivery
