Module 1Fundamentals of Ultralytics and YOLOv8
Presentation of YOLOv8 advancements, history of YOLO models, differences with previous versions. Installation of the Ultralytics package via pip, configuration of a Python/Jupyter/Google Colab environment, discovery of the ultralytics API. Exploration of the official documentation, installation troubleshooting.
Module 2Data Preparation and Annotation
Structuring datasets for YOLOv8 (images, labels, directories). Annotation tools (Roboflow, LabelImg, CVAT...) and export process to YOLO format. Data cleaning and augmentation (data augmentation), best practices for dataset selection, class imbalance management.
Module 3Training, Validation, and Deployment
Training configuration files: parameters (batch size, epochs, learning rate, image size). Launching a custom training on a dataset, monitoring logs and retrieving checkpoints. Evaluating results with mAP metrics, precision, recall. Optimization and debugging techniques. Model export and deployment: inference on images, videos, webcam streams. Introduction to ONNX/TensorRT export for industrialization and adaptation to professional use cases.

The Training: Mastering Ultralytics YOLOv8: From Installation to Advanced Object Detection program is delivered onsite or remote (blended-learning, e-learning, virtual classroom, remote presence).
