What is professional training?
Professional training encompasses all the mechanisms enabling employees, job seekers, and freelancers to acquire new skills throughout their working lives. It is a fundamental right enshrined in the Labor Code and represents a strategic investment for companies aiming to remain competitive.
The different types of professional training
It includes initial training (before entering the workforce), continuing training (for active workers), apprenticeship training (combining theory and practice), and Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE). Each mechanism addresses specific needs and offers tailored pathways suited to learners' profiles.
Inter-company vs intra-company training
Inter-company training brings together participants from different organizations in a shared program, fostering the exchange of best practices. Intra-company training is custom-designed for a specific organization, addressing precise internal challenges. At Learni, we offer both formats to maximize educational impact.
How to fund your professional training?
Funding is often the first barrier mentioned by professionals seeking training. However, numerous mechanisms exist to cover all or part of the training costs.
The Personal Training Account (CPF)
Every worker accumulates training entitlements credited in euros to their CPF. This account allows autonomous funding of certifying or qualifying training. The balance can be checked on moncompteformation.gouv.fr and may be topped up by the employer.
Funding through OPCOs
Skills Operators (OPCOs) collect contributions from companies and fund training actions for their members. Each professional sector is affiliated with a specific OPCO. Learni assists you in preparing your OPCO applications to simplify the process.
- CPF (Personal Training Account)
- Company skills development plan
- OPCO (Skills Operators)
- Pôle Emploi (AIF, POEI, AFPR)
- Regions (regional training programs)
- FNE-Training (National Employment Fund)
Why choose a Qualiopi-certified training organization?
Qualiopi certification has been mandatory since January 2022 for all training organizations seeking access to public or mutualized funds. It guarantees the quality of the training process based on 7 criteria defined by the National Quality Reference Framework.
The 7 criteria of the National Quality Reference Framework
The framework evaluates: public information conditions, identification of training objectives, adaptation to beneficiary audiences, suitability of pedagogical resources, trainer qualifications, integration into the professional environment, and the continuous improvement process.
