Presentation of AWS IoT Core, professional IoT use cases, creation and setup of an AWS account, review of the IoT Core console. Concepts of Thing, Device Shadow, Security, and Access Policy. Workshops: creation of a first simulated connected device, discovery of the interface, real-time monitoring of messages via MQTT.
Implementation of strong authentication (X.509 certificates, IAM, Amazon Cognito), management of permissions and advanced policies, discovery of message rules (IoT Rules Engine), sending streams to Lambda, S3, or DynamoDB. Practical exercises: securing a complete workflow, creating automated workflows for IoT data processing and persistence.
Device monitoring with AWS IoT Device Management, anomaly detection, alerting. Introduction to integration with AWS Machine Learning (predictive analysis on IoT data), discovery of AWS Greengrass for IoT Edge. OTA (Over-the-Air) deployment of updates. Synthesis workshops: end-to-end processing from data capture to business exploitation of IoT data.
