Elementary arithmetic operations, universal functions (ufunc), aggregation functions (max, min, mean, etc.), basic statistics, use of advanced mathematical functions (trigonometry, exponentials, logarithms). Introduction to vectorization and broadcasting. Guided exercises on manipulation and vectorized computation.
Generation of random data (np.random), axis and dimension management, reshaping arrays (reshape, ravel, flatten). Data import/export (txt, csv), masking (masked arrays), handling missing data, interoperability with Pandas and Matplotlib. Practical case study on analyzing a real dataset.
