Advanced installation of brokers (Mosquitto, cloud alternatives), fine configuration (authentication, ACL, TLS/SSL, persistence). Creation of client scripts (Python, C), multi-client management, topic wildcards, disconnections and incident recovery. Practical exercises: securing, message exchanges, flow monitoring, troubleshooting common issues, introduction to testing tools (MQTT Explorer, Wireshark).
Implementation of multi-broker MQTT architectures, bridging, Edge Computing concepts, scalability management, high-availability and clustering. Supervision using logs, metrics, dashboarding (Grafana, Prometheus). Integration with databases, cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google IoT Core) and industrial controllers (Node-RED, REST API). Vulnerability studies, security best practices, load testing, real deployment scenarios. Thread project: design of a secure mini MQTT architecture for connected sensors.
