The Training: Mastering Luminosity Sensors: Installation, Optimization and Applications training is delivered in-person or remotely (blended-learning, e-learning, virtual classroom, remote in-person). At Learni, a Qualiopi-certified training organization, each program is designed to maximize skills acquisition, regardless of the training mode chosen.
The trainer alternates between demonstrative, interrogative, and active methods (through practical exercises and/or real-world scenarios). This pedagogical approach ensures concrete and directly applicable learning in the workplace.
To ensure the quality of the Training: Mastering Luminosity Sensors: Installation, Optimization and Applications training, Learni provides the following teaching resources:
For in-house training at a location external to Learni, the client ensures and commits to having all necessary teaching materials (IT equipment, internet connection...) for the proper conduct of the training action in accordance with the prerequisites indicated in the communicated training program.
The assessment of skills acquired during the Training: Mastering Luminosity Sensors: Installation, Optimization and Applications training is carried out through:

Discovery of different luminosity sensor technologies (photodiodes, LDR, phototransistors, digital sensors). Study of underlying physical principles: light spectrum, luminous intensity, units of measurement (lux, lumens), spectral responses. Overview of common applications in industry, home automation, automotive, agriculture, and renewable energies.
Selection criteria for a sensor according to the application, sizing calculations, hardware compatibility with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, programmable logic controllers). Integration approach into an existing system: wiring diagrams, signal management (analog or digital), sensitivity parameterization, influence of installation conditions and environment. Practical case studies of installation in home automation and smart buildings.
Data collection and processing from sensors: filtering, analog/digital conversion, trigger thresholds for automatic regulation (lighting, shutter motorization, horticultural lighting). Programming of scripts and basic algorithms (examples on Arduino and industrial PLCs). Analysis of implementation examples in energy regulation and consumption optimization. Performance evaluation and reliability tests.
Target audience
Technicians, engineers, automation specialists, professionals in home automation and renewable energies who wish to integrate and exploit luminosity sensors in various projects.
