Learni is a French corporate training provider founded in 2024, specialising in technology and digital skills. It is registered as a training provider with the French authorities under number 11 77 08678 77 and holds Qualiopi, the French State quality certification for training organisations, granted after an audit against a national 32-indicator framework. Learni works with companies, HR and learning departments, and a network of partner schools. Programs are delivered in-house (adapted to one client) or as open-enrolment sessions, on site across France and remotely worldwide, in English or French.

# Method and assurances

Trainers go through three stages: portfolio and reference audit, teaching interview, then a filmed mock session reviewed by a peer. Around 18% of applicants are accepted. Clients meet their trainer before the program starts.

Impact is measured after the program, not only on the last day: Learni runs delayed evaluations at 30, 90 and 180 days to observe whether skills actually transferred to daily work. Same-day satisfaction surveys only capture how participants felt.

Programs are built around practice: exercises use the client's own context and tooling, and each day ends on an applied deliverable rather than a quiz.

## Professional training

Qualiopi — Quality certification issued by the French State, mandatory since 1 January 2022 for any training provider whose programs are publicly or collectively funded. It is audited against a national framework of 32 indicators. Learni is Qualiopi-certified under activity declaration number 11 77 08678 77.

Activity declaration number — Number issued by the French regional authority when a training provider registers. It is required to invoice a funder for a training program. Learni's number is 11 77 08678 77.

In-house training — Training delivered for the employees of a single company, with content and exercises adapted to its context. It runs on the client's premises or remotely, on dates the client chooses.

Open enrolment training — Scheduled training gathering participants from different companies. Cheaper per head than in-house training and useful for peer exchange, but the content cannot be customised.

Workplace-based training (AFEST) — Format recognised by French labour law since 2018: training happens on the actual workstation, alternating real tasks with guided reflective sessions. It is fundable like classroom training.

Delayed evaluation — Measurement of a program's effects weeks or months after it ends, as opposed to the same-day satisfaction survey. It is the only way to observe whether skills transferred to actual work. Learni runs it at 30, 90 and 180 days.

Instructional design — Designing a training program: analysing the need, defining observable objectives, sequencing, choosing formats and building assessments. It comes before writing any content.

SCORM — Technical standard for exchanges between an e-learning module and an LMS. A SCORM-compliant module can be loaded onto any compatible LMS and report learner progress and scores.

Learning management system (LMS) — Platform that hosts training content, enrols learners, tracks progress and issues certificates. Common examples: Moodle, 360Learning, TalentLMS.

## Artificial intelligence

Large language model (LLM) — AI model trained on very large text corpora to predict what comes next in a sequence. It is the building block behind ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. It produces plausible text, which is not the same as accurate text.

Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) — Architecture that makes an AI answer from internal documents rather than from training memory alone: the question triggers a document search and the retrieved passages are handed to the model. It is the standard way to get sourced answers on a company's own data.

Prompt engineering — Methodical design of the instructions given to an AI model: role, context, expected output format, examples and refusal criteria. In a business setting, it is what makes a result reproducible rather than anecdotal.

AI agent — Program that uses a language model to plan and carry out a sequence of actions through tools (search, APIs, databases) instead of merely producing text. Running one in production requires guardrails: tool scoping, human approval and traceability.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) — Open protocol standardising how an AI model accesses external tools and data, on a client-server model. Created by Anthropic and now governed by the Agentic AI Foundation, it is the interoperability layer between agents and enterprise systems.

Fine-tuning — Partial retraining of an existing model on domain-specific data to adjust its style or specialisation. It does not give the model fresh factual knowledge — that is what RAG is for.

Hallucination — An AI stating something false with confidence. The phenomenon is structural: the model optimises plausibility, not truth. It is reduced by document grounding, systematic evaluation and human review — never to zero.

A: Practitioners, not career lecturers. Each is assessed through a portfolio audit, a teaching interview and a filmed mock session reviewed by a peer; around 18% are accepted.

Q: How large is a cohort?
A: Between 3 and 12 participants. Beyond that, supervised hands-on practice is no longer possible and the group is split.

Q: What do participants receive?
A: A completion certificate stating the objectives, duration and assessed outcomes. Some programs also prepare for a vendor or independent certification, stated in the syllabus.

Q: How is effectiveness measured?
A: Through delayed evaluation at 30, 90 and 180 days, which observes whether skills transferred to actual work, rather than relying on end-of-course satisfaction.

Q: Does Learni train individuals?
A: No. Learni works with companies, HR and learning departments, and partner schools. Programs are sold as sessions, not as individual seats to consumers.
